Mastodynon este un medicament homeopat.
Mastodynon este indicat ca tratament la femei aflate la vârsta fertilă care prezintă următoarele tulburări:
– tulburări ale ciclului menstrual determinate de insuficienţa temporară sau permanentă de fază luteală;
– sindrom premenstrual cu tulburări cum sunt dureri la nivelul sânilor, instabilitate psihică, umflare a membrelor inferioare, constipaţie, durere de cap, migrenă (durere de cap foarte pronunţată);
– tulburări benigne dureroase ale sânilor (mastopatie fibrochistică).

Compozitie:
Substantele active sunt:Vitex agnus castus,Caulophyllum thalictroides,Cyclamen purpurascens,Strychnos ignatii,Iris versicolor,Lilium tigrinum.
1 Comprimat contine:
Vitex agnus castus – 162mg;
Caulophyllum thalictroides D4 – 81mg;
Cyclamen purpurascens D4 – 81mg;
Strychnos ignatii D6 – 81mg;
Iris versicolor D2 – 162mg;
Lilium tigrinum D3 – 81mg;

Mod de administrare:
Trebuie să discutaţi cu medicul dumneavoastră sau cu farmacistul dacă nu sunteţi sigur.
Dacă nu este prescris altfel de către medic, doza uzuală este de un comprimat Mastodynon de 2 ori pe zi (un comprimat dimineaţa şi unul seara). Comprimatele se înghit cu o cantitate suficientă de lichid (de exemplu un pahar cu apă).
Mastodynon trebuie luat cel puţin 3 luni, inclusiv pe perioada menstruaţiei. În general, ameliorarea simptomelor apare după 6 săptămâni. Trebuie să vă adresaţi medicului dumneavoastră dacă simptomele vi se înrăutăţesc sau nu se îmbunătăţesc după 6 – 8 săptămâni de tratament. Dacă simptomele revin după întreruperea administrării medicamentului Mastodynon, tratamentul poate fi continuat, după un consult medical. Poate fi necesar un tratament de lungă durată.

Deoarece nu există date adecvate privind utilizarea acestui medicament la copii cu vârsta sub 12 ani, Mastodynon nu trebuie administrat la această grupă de vârstă.

Contraindicații:
Nu utilizaţi Mastodynon:
– dacă sunteţi alergic (hipersensibil) la Vitex agnus castus, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Cyclamen purpurascens (sau alte specii de primula), Strychnos ignatii, Iris versicolor, Lilium tigrinum sau la oricare dintre celelalte componente ale acestui medicament.

Precautii:
Înainte să utilizaţi Mastodynon, adresaţi-vă medicului dumneavoastră sau farmacistului.

Sarcina, alăptarea și fertilitatea:
Adresaţi-vă medicului dumneavoastră sau farmacistului pentru recomandări înainte de a lua orice medicament.
Nu există indicaţii pentru utilizarea acestui medicament la gravide.
Studiile cu privire la toxicitatea asupra funcţiei de reproducere sugerează că Vitex agnus castus din compoziţia medicamentului poate afecta lactaţia.
Mastodynon nu trebuie utilizat în timpul sarcinii şi alăptării.

Indications:

Mastodynon is a homeopathic medicine.

Mastodynon is indicated as a treatment for women of childbearing potential who have the following disorders:

– disorders of the menstrual cycle caused by temporary or permanent insufficiency of the luteal phase;

– premenstrual syndrome with disorders such as breast pain, mental instability, swelling of the lower limbs, constipation, headache, migraine (very severe headache);

– benign painful breast disorders (fibrocystic mastopathy).

Composition:

The active substances are: Vitex agnus castus, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Cyclamen purpurascens, Strychnos ignatii, Iris versicolor, Lilium tigrinum.

1 Tablet contains:

Vitex agnus castus – 162mg;

Caulophyllum thalictroides D4 – 81mg;

Cyclamen purpurascens D4 – 81mg;

Strychnos ignatii D6 – 81mg;

Iris versicolor D2 – 162mg;

Lilium tigrinum D3 – 81mg;

Administration method:

You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is one Mastodynon tablet twice a day (one tablet in the morning and one in the evening). Swallow the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid (eg a glass of water).

Mastodynon should be taken for at least 3 months, including during menstruation. Generally, relief of symptoms occurs after 6 weeks. You should ask your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 6 to 8 weeks of treatment. If symptoms return after stopping Mastodynon, treatment can be continued after a medical consultation. Long-term treatment may be required.

As there are no adequate data from the use of this medicine in children under 12 years of age, Mastodynon should not be used in this age group.

Contraindications:

Do not use Mastodynon:

– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Vitex agnus castus, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Cyclamen purpurascens (or other primrose species), Strychnos ignatii, Iris versicolor, Lilium tigrinum or any of the other ingredients.

Precautions:

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

There are no indications for use of this medicine in pregnant women.

Reproductive toxicity studies suggest that Vitex agnus castus in the medicine may affect lactation.

Mastodynon should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Driving and using machines:

No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
