Gerdoff Esoxx is a CE-marked medical device – not a food supplement. It is presented as orodispersible tablets that dissolve in the mouth and form a protective barrier over the lining (mucous membrane) of the oesophagus. It acts by a physical, mechanical action, is not absorbed into the body, and is used as a mucosal-protective barrier to help manage the symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux.
