Beta-carotene is one of the 600 carotenoids found in plants. It is also known as provitamin A, which means that some of the beta-carotene that enters the body is converted to vitamin A, depending on the body’s needs.
Vitamin A is an essential nutrient that helps to maintain vision, skin health, and the immune system. The richest sources of beta-carotene are carrots, spinach, and kale, among vegetables, and cantaloupe and apricots, among fruits.
It has been observed that Japanese and Norwegians, who consume more foods that are rich in beta-carotene, have a much lower incidence of lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, and breast cancer than people in other countries.
The results of a 10-year study showed that the number of cases of heart disease and cancer was half as high in men who regularly consumed beta-carotene as in those in the control group who did not consume this substance. According to researchers, vitamin A reduces the risk of cancer because it supports cell differentiation and can therefore control the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells. Zinc also helps to regulate the flow of vitamin A in cells.
Unfortunately, the foods we eat often contain chemicals and harmful substances from the environment, making them not ideal as a source of vitamins. For example, carrots often contain higher levels of cadmium and nitrates than beta-carotene, with the exception of organically grown plants.

Beta-caroten natural 25000 UI – 100 capsule gelatinoase
