Overview — A food supplement carrying three ingredients per capsule: mastic resin from the island of Chios, an inactivated Lactobacillus reuteri culture under the Pylopass™ brand, and an ethanolic propolis extract, in vegetable capsules.

What it is

Each capsule carries 200 mg of Chios mastic gum (Pistacia lentiscus var. chia) — the resin of the mastic tree, standardised to at least 12% masticadienoic and isomasticadienoic acids — 100 mg of Lactobacillus reuteri Pylopass™ (inactivated cells, ≥1×10¹¹ cells/g) and 100 mg of a 1.5–2:1 ethanolic propolis extract with at least 2.5% flavonoids. Chios mastic has a long tradition of use around the Mediterranean, and propolis is the resinous material collected by bees. The capsule shell is vegetable (hypromellose).
